How fire is detected?...

Posted on 25. Oct, 2012 by technical manager

ZeroFires is based in a powerful software of Artificial Vision that allows to detect any signal of fire in a very early stage into a cell lower than 30x30 meters with optical cameras of high resolution.

How it works?...

Posted on 22. Nov, 2012 by technical manager

When a signal of fire is detected, an alarm is triggered and sent to a central station.

ZF-WildFire Stations are provided with connection to the Internet by GPRS/3G/HDSPA or by Satellite, depending of the zone.
ZF-Remote Stations are ready to be used in isolated zones with poor satellite visibility. In fact, they also can communicate with other station by RF.

What kind of energy is used by ZF-Wildfire Stations?...

Posted on 3. Dec, 2012 by technical manager

They use renewable energies. There're some ZeroFires models fed by solar energy and other mix models which are also fed by wind power.

What is the largest area that can be covered per station?...

Posted on 14. May, 2013 by technical manager

2400 square kilometers, although it also depends of the orography.

What about resolution?...What is the smallest size of fire that can be detected?...

Posted on 27. May, 2013 by technical manager

It depends of the model. We've got ZF models that are able to detect signals of fire from 15x15 meters to 0.5x0.5 meters (fires will be always lower than according signals)

What about costs?... Such wonderful system must be so expensive ...

Posted on 14. Jun, 2013 by technical manager

Not at all! Costs depends of some factors:total number of square kilometers, number of stations, scanning speed (Km2/minute), size of signal of fire to be detected. In any case, costs per square kilometer are very, very low!

I would like to start with ZeroFires portable system, would be possible to upgrade to other model later?...

Posted on 20. Jun, 2013 by technical manager

Yeah, because ZeroFires is fully scalable. In fact our ZF Portable System is a good way to check what ZeroFires can do for you!
